Associate – Investment Management

About the role

The Associate partners with Asset Managers to oversee commercial and multifamily real‑estate investments, aiming to optimize asset performance and value. This role supports strategy development, lease analysis, feasibility studies, and the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for a portfolio of assets.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Asset Managers to create operational strategies and analyze major leases, capital projects, and other investment factors.
• Assist in reviewing valuation models (Argus and Excel) and participate in acquisition and disposition processes.
• Prepare financial analysis to compare historic portfolio results with industry benchmarks.
• Coordinate annual business plans and quarterly reports, including operating and capital budgets.
• Communicate with third‑party property management, leasing personnel, insurance, tax consultants, and other providers.
• Review lease packages, evaluate prospective tenants’ creditworthiness, and perform lease‑related financial analysis.
• Collect and synthesize market reports and transaction data.
• Facilitate lender compliance for lease approvals, capital expenditures, and escrow releases.
