Assistant Teaching Professor – Biology & Science

About the role

The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College seeks a full‑time Assistant Teaching Professor to deliver high‑quality biology instruction. The successful candidate will primarily teach Human Anatomy and Physiology (both labs and lectures) and additional biology courses as needed, supporting the college’s mission of student success and transfer preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 15 credit hours per semester, including laboratory and lecture components for Human Anatomy and Physiology.
• Develop and deliver curriculum for other biology courses assigned by the department.
• Participate actively in faculty orientations, professional development workshops, and departmental meetings.
• Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, and staff.
• Incorporate contemporary educational techniques and technology to enhance learning outcomes.
