About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks a dedicated Assistant Professor of Nursing to join its School of Nursing. This tenure‑track position focuses on delivering high‑quality nursing education and contributing to the academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing curriculum for both didactic and clinical components.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate nursing students.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of student records, examinations, and clinical documentation.
• Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and student evaluations.
• Maintain regular office hours in accordance with university policy.
• Serve as a professional role model and engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication.
• Promote the goals and reputation of the School of Nursing, the university, and the broader community.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dean of the School of Nursing.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Nursing or a closely related field.
