About the role

The University of Arkansas seeks a dynamic professional to serve as Assistant Director for Online Undergraduate Programs while also holding a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing appointment. This dual‑track position supports the growth of online nursing education and contributes to the university’s mission of research, teaching, and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee development, delivery, and continuous improvement of online undergraduate nursing programs.
• Teach and supervise clinical courses, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to enhance curriculum and student outcomes.
• Participate in faculty governance, committee work, and scholarly activities.
• Provide mentorship and support to students, including advising and career guidance.

Required profile

• Terminal degree in Nursing (PhD, DNP, or equivalent) and active RN licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in online program administration and clinical education.
• Strong record of teaching effectiveness and scholarly contributions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of online learning platforms and instructional design principles.
• Familiarity with nursing accreditation standards and clinical simulation.
