Armed Security Guard – Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Armed Security Guard will protect a U.S. Army installation at Camp Bondsteel in Pristina, Kosovo. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on a U.S. Government contract while gaining valuable experience in force protection and security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform access control, entry screening, and badge issuance for all personnel and visitors.
• Conduct roving patrols, surveillance, and monitoring of the installation and its facilities, including the gym, PX, and MWR areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring the safety of tenants and assets.
• Maintain detailed logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate with military and civilian security personnel to enforce force‑protection measures.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. passport.
• U.S. Secret security clearance (sponsorship possible).
• Minimum two years recent experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military operations.
• Completion of a state‑recognized security or law‑enforcement academy, or equivalent military training.
• Ability to pass a background check, fingerprinting, drug testing, and a physical ability test (1.5‑mile run in ≤17:30, 21 push‑ups in 2 minutes).
• Clean criminal record and medically fit for duty.
