Area Director – Portland

About the role

The Area Director for the Portland market will lead and oversee multiple Raising Cane’s restaurants, ensuring operational excellence, growth, and profitability. Reporting to the Area Business Unit, you will be the primary field‑based leader responsible for driving the brand’s vision and performance across the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day operations of all restaurants in the Portland area, including new‑store launches and existing‑store performance.
• Develop and execute operational plans that align with the company’s sales‑driven, profit‑smart philosophy.
• Collaborate with marketing, training, recruiting and growth functions to support restaurant needs.
• Manage financial results, including budgeting, EBITDAR oversight, and profit improvement.
• Lead, coach and develop restaurant managers and crew members, fostering a high‑performing culture.
• Drive community engagement, media initiatives and sponsorships to enhance brand presence.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions, including training and certification programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multi‑unit restaurant management or a comparable leadership role.
• Strong understanding of restaurant financial metrics and profit drivers.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and people‑development skills.
