Architect – Custom Luxury Homes

About the role

We are seeking an Architect to design extraordinary custom luxury homes in the Mountain West. The role is based in Missoula, Montana and focuses on $10‑25 MM fully custom residences where architecture, structure, and craft work together from concept to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to projects through Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality Revit models and drawing sets.
• Coordinate architectural intent with structural, civil, and MEP consultants.
• Apply strong structural understanding to inform layout, spans, systems, and constructability.
• Collaborate closely with builders to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and buildable.
• Participate in client presentations and design discussions.
• Maintain a high level of technical accuracy and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Architect or Senior Architectural Designer with experience in custom residential projects.
• Fluent in Revit and comfortable with detailed construction documentation.
• Strong structural awareness and ability to coordinate with engineers and builders.
• Registered Architect (RA/NCARB) or senior designer with deep technical capability is a strong fit.
