APEX Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced APEX Developer to join a dynamic team supporting our client in Brooklyn. The role focuses on building and maintaining modern Oracle APEX applications, collaborating with DevOps and server administrators, and ensuring high‑quality code that follows architectural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications in a large, multi‑developer environment.
• Utilize JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Oracle JET to create responsive, modern user interfaces.
• Write and optimise PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, materialised views and complex SQL queries.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Collaborate with DevOps and server teams to troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Adhere to coding standards and best practices defined by the architecture team.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Oracle APEX developer.
• Expert‑level knowledge of Oracle APEX version 21.3 or newer.
• Strong background in Oracle 11g/12c database design, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proven ability to work in large development teams and follow established processes.
