About the role
The Bosch Research and Technology Center in Sunnyvale is seeking an AI Research Scientist to lead cutting‑edge projects on multimodal foundational models. You will work on AI solutions that fuse audio, image, radar, lidar, telemetry and other sensor data to advance driver assistance systems and other Bosch products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead AI research projects that label, predict, classify, cluster, describe and fuse multi‑sensor data (acoustic, telemetry, vibration, radar, lidar, image, Wi‑Fi, ultrasound).
- Architect, design and validate multimodal deep‑learning and Timeseries Foundation Models (TSFM) for multivariate time‑series signals.
- Integrate timeseries models with auxiliary modalities such as video and images to improve contextual understanding.
- Provide expert insights to management for strategic planning, R&D direction and investment decisions.
Required profile
- Proven research experience in artificial intelligence, especially multimodal and time‑series modeling.
- Ability to design, implement and evaluate large‑scale deep‑learning systems.
- Strong publication record in top AI conferences or journals is a plus.
