About the role

This student position with the Quebec Ministry of Transport provides administrative support in the Gaspé and New Carlisle service centres. It is designed for full‑time (or final‑year part‑time) students seeking practical experience while continuing their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Scanning and digitising documents
• Data entry and verification of records
• Filing and organising paperwork
• Reviewing documents for accuracy
• Processing accounts, expenses and related financial entries
• Performing other office tasks as required by the department

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of computer operations
• Motivated to learn and take on new tasks
• Rigorous, organised and positive attitude

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $21.63 CAD plus a 6.5 % premium for certain benefits
• Flexible schedule: up to 14 h/week during study sessions, 21 h/week during reading weeks, and 35 h/week in summer/holiday periods
• Potential for contract extension and possible transition to a regular or occasional position after graduation
