Afterschool Spanish Instructor

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Spanish Instructor to join our after‑school program at PS 125. You will work with kindergarten through 5th‑grade students, helping them develop language skills, cultural awareness, and a love for learning in a fun, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Spanish lessons and manage transitions between activities.
• Collaborate with school staff to monitor student progress and behavior.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and submit incident reports using digital platforms.
• Organize Spanish learning materials and supplies for student use.
• Promote an inclusive, energetic classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Experience working with elementary‑age children, preferably in a teaching or tutoring capacity.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and professional appearance.
• Excellent communication skills for setting clear expectations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with educational technology tools for attendance and reporting.
