Adjunct Instructor – Emergency Medical Services

About the role

The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to deliver Emergency Medical Services (EMS) education. The role involves teaching, supervising, and mentoring students across classroom, lab, clinical, and field environments under the guidance of the program director.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction and supervision of EMS students in classroom, laboratory, clinical, and field settings.
• Create a learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
• Apply appropriate evaluation and measurement techniques to assess teaching effectiveness and student performance.
• Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently in line with course objectives.
• Serve as a professional role model for students and peers.

Required profile

• Current EMSP license in Arkansas with National Registry of EMTs certification or eligibility.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
