Adjunct Faculty – Diesel Technology

About the role

The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver high‑quality instruction in diesel technology to undergraduate students. The position involves teaching a range of core and advanced courses and supporting the college’s mission of career‑focused education.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses such as Basic Diesel Technology Diagnostics, Diesel Fundamentals Theory, Power Trains, Air Conditioning Systems, and related subjects.
• Deliver both basic and advanced servicing courses for tractors, trailers, electrical systems, hydraulics, fuel injection, and brake systems.
• Provide instruction for internship courses as assigned.
• Prepare lesson plans, assess student performance, and maintain classroom records in accordance with college policies.
• Adapt teaching load based on student demand and academic calendar.

Required profile

• Professional experience in diesel technology and related mechanical systems.
• Ability to act as a teacher and facilitator of learning for undergraduate students.
• Commitment to delivering instruction in a timely and policy‑compliant manner.
