About the role

Swatch Group, the world’s leading watch manufacturer, is seeking an Accountant to join its U.S. finance team. The role ensures accurate accounting, transaction processing, and reporting across multiple retail, e‑commerce, and wholesale profit centers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting cycle for several profit centers, including retail, e‑commerce, and wholesale.
• Perform month‑end general ledger reconciliations and review accruals and expenses.
• Prepare journal entries, analyses, and monthly P&L and balance‑sheet summaries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Support the annual audit by providing required documentation.
• Maintain accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
• Research and respond to internal inquiries and contribute to process‑improvement projects.
• Execute special projects that support departmental and company objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in public or corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, accurate, and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP financial system.
