Accountant

About the role

Southeast Toyota Finance (SETF) is looking for an Accountant to join its Finance and Accounting team. You will support daily and monthly reconciliation processes, ensure the accuracy of key financial accounts, and help strengthen internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily and monthly portfolio control reconciliations.
• Assist in gathering audit support for various audit engagements.
• Research and resolve aging items.
• Support Commercial and Dealer Reserve daily and monthly functions.
• Participate in ongoing Accounting Systems projects.
• Analyze General Ledger accounts and perform necessary reconciliations.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.
• Help develop and implement automation tools to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3‑5 years of professional accounting and financial analysis experience.
• Strong organizational, follow‑up, and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with Python for data automation.
