Vice President, Strategic Marketing

About the role

The Vice President, Strategic Marketing will lead Tanger’s enterprise‑wide marketing strategy, focusing on driving retailer sales, center traffic, and database growth. Reporting to senior leadership, this role combines independent analysis with collaborative execution across national initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute data‑driven marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Apply predictive analytics, critical analysis, and forecasting tools to optimize performance.
• Produce executive‑level reports on a monthly, seasonal, and quarterly basis.
• Oversee national marketing programs including retailer sales strategy, promotional offers, seasonal and community campaigns, leasing initiatives, loyalty programs, and marketing operations.
• Maintain and evolve annual marketing content calendars and multi‑year strategic roadmaps.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in strategic marketing, preferably within retail or shopping center environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication skills for executive reporting and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Track record of driving measurable sales and traffic growth.
