Vice President of Quality (North America)

About the role

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Vice President of Quality to lead its North America Quality organization, overseeing Production Quality at Aiken, SC and Mankato, MN, Reliability Engineering, and Emission Certification. The executive will shape quality and product compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, regulatory requirements and global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the North America Quality organization, including Production Quality, Reliability Engineering and Emission Certification.
• Define and execute a quality strategy aligned with customer expectations, business goals and continuous‑improvement objectives.
• Establish and maintain global quality standards and processes in line with ISO 9001 and Rolls‑Royce Power Systems requirements.
• Ensure regulatory and product compliance, managing emission requirements across cross‑functional teams.
• Drive quality performance through data analytics, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action systems.
• Resolve quality issues rapidly, including customer‑facing concerns and field performance.
• Represent Rolls‑Royce with customers, regulatory bodies and industry authorities on quality and compliance matters.
• Lead talent development, foster a compliance‑focused culture and manage budgets, forecasts and productivity.

Required profile

• Associate degree with 10+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+, or Master’s with 6+, or PhD with 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing Operations, or 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven executive leadership in quality organizations with expertise in structured problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
