Vice President, Enterprise Operations

About the role

The Vice President, Enterprise Operations leads Mastercard’s large, diverse technology centers that support business partner processing needs and serve internal and external customers. This senior leader ensures continuous, secure, and reliable 24/7/365 data, network, and processing availability across multi‑platform data‑center environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24 × 7 × 365 processing, data, and network availability across multi‑platform data‑center environments.
• Maintain approved staffing levels, oversee education, training, and cross‑training programs.
• Communicate goals, performance expectations, and improvement plans to staff.
• Review, approve, and implement policy changes with minimal disruption.
• Develop and enforce new or revised operational processes and strategic direction.
• Ensure disaster‑recovery processes are viable and tested.
• Manage multi‑million‑dollar annual cost‑center budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
• Address operational and business concerns related to future programs, projects, or enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience with management responsibilities in a large Network Operations environment.
• Extensive knowledge of complex Network Operations, networking, and infrastructure technologies.
• Proven experience managing 24 × 7 shift environments and coordinating contract and service‑provider teams.
