About the role

South Houston Nissan is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and motivate the Used Car sales team. The role focuses on supervising staff, driving sales performance, and implementing growth‑oriented strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with General Managers to set sales goals and develop growth strategies.
  • Attend weekly sales action and management meetings.
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor sales employees.
  • Organize and oversee role‑specific training schedules.
  • Guide the team in setting weekly, monthly, and annual objectives and support them with meetings, proposals, and follow‑up.

Required profile

  • 3‑5 years of dealership sales management experience (preferred).
  • 2 years leading a high‑performing sales team (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a valid in‑state driver’s license.
  • Must be 21+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience using inventory control software.
