About the role

We are seeking a passionate Upper KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant, inclusive primary school in Central London. The successful candidate will guide pupils through the crucial Key Stage 2 years, delivering engaging lessons and preparing them for SATs and the transition to secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver challenging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Upper Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Establish and maintain effective classroom routines and behaviour management.
• Support pupils in becoming independent, motivated learners.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback and help prepare students for SATs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Upper KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Positive, consistent approach to behaviour management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to pupil wellbeing and development.
