Theater Technician

About the role

The Theater Technician supports the technical execution of performances, events, rehearsals and productions at the Faena Theater. Working in a luxury hospitality environment, you will ensure audio, video, lighting, staging and rigging systems are set up, operated and maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, operation and breakdown of audio, video, lighting, staging and rigging equipment for live shows and events.
• Operate technical equipment during performances, rehearsals and special events as directed.
• Support stage changes, scenery movements and backstage operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of backstage, technical and storage areas.
• Identify technical issues and communicate maintenance or repair needs.
• Adhere to theater safety standards, operational procedures and company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in theater, live entertainment, hospitality venues or production environments.
• Ability to work at heights, lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organizational abilities.
