Assistant Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Domino’s restaurant in Palestine, TX. You will work closely with the store manager to ensure smooth service, develop the team and meet performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations and workflow to ensure efficient department functioning.
• Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures that improve efficiency.
• Supervise, mentor and provide feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives and maintain effective communication.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to aid decision‑making.
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Take charge of hiring, training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards and regulations.
• Step in for the manager during absences, making decisions and representing the department.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Solid organizational and time‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
