Systems Control Technician – Manufacturing Equipment

About the role

3M is looking for a Systems Control Technician to join its Little Rock, AR facility. In this full‑time position you will support the installation, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing equipment across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, document, and execute installation, repair, replacement, and modification of mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and program new and existing manufacturing systems.
• Maintain, calibrate, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components, including pumps.
• Upgrade and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent.
• Three years of industrial maintenance experience or an Associate’s degree/certificate in a related field.
• Recent or ongoing pursuit of a two‑year technical degree in maintenance is a plus.

Required skills

• Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
• Analog and digital AC/DC drive systems
• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Calibration and metrology
• PLC programming and logic interpretation
• Process flow, instrument flow, and P&ID diagram reading
• Use of electrical testing tools and industrial test equipment
