Supply Chain Manager, Indirect Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Global Supply Chain Manager to lead indirect procurement across North America business units, including Motors, Energy, Solar, and Service. The role focuses on sourcing categories such as consulting, marketing, security, and employee benefits, ensuring optimal supply assurance, pricing, and delivery performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze spend data, purchasing trends, and evaluate existing suppliers while identifying new alternatives.
• Own RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, negotiate commercial terms, and document agreements.
• Evaluate supplier proposals, drive price negotiations, and recommend selections that achieve cost savings or avoidance.
• Negotiate long‑term contracts, establish key performance measures, and lead continuous cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance monitoring, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with business units to develop, implement, and improve procurement programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or consulting.
• Strong strategic thinking and contract negotiation abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make rapid decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to operate in a dynamic setting with evolving scope.
