Supervisor, IT Audit

About the role

The Supervisor, IT Audit at Santander will lead complex, risk‑based technology audits across the organization’s IT environment. You will evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls, guide junior auditors, and ensure audit work complies with internal methodology and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complex technology audits and assess control effectiveness.
• Supervise, coach, and provide technical guidance to less‑experienced team members.
• Examine system configurations, logs, reports, and technical documentation to identify control deficiencies and cybersecurity risks.
• Participate in audits of cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and conduct high‑complexity post‑audit follow‑up.
• Document audit testing, review work papers, and draft audit recommendations.
• Maintain professional relationships with audit stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business processes, technology architecture, and associated risks.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in identifying control gaps and root causes.
• Experience supervising or coaching audit team members.
• Commitment to professional development and adherence to audit standards.
