About the role
The Staff HR Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across multiple states, supporting ARA’s divisions with comprehensive HR services. You will help retain, develop and engage talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Key responsibilities
- Provide benefits, compensation, employee‑relations and performance‑management support to multi‑state locations.
- Interpret policies, ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, and respond to unemployment claims.
- Partner with local HR administrators, corporate HR teams and managers to resolve complex employee‑relations issues, including complaints and investigations.
- Maintain data integrity in the HR Information System (HRIS) for hires, transfers, reviews and terminations.
- Assist in policy reviews, develop training content and deliver HR trainings as needed.
- Participate in corporate HR initiatives and special projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of HR experience supporting multiple business units in a strategic capacity.
- Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptable with strong networking and research capabilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
