Sr. Director, Sourcing & Procurement

About the role

This senior executive position leads global indirect procurement strategy for a large, innovation‑driven organization. You will shape sourcing approaches that drive cost efficiency, operational excellence, and long‑term supplier value across technology, marketing, and professional services spend.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a global sourcing and procurement strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Oversee category management for all indirect spend areas, including technology, marketing, corporate services, and professional services.
• Drive end‑to‑end sourcing activities such as RFPs, negotiations, contracting, supplier onboarding, and lifecycle management.
• Establish procurement governance, processes, and operating models to improve efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization and service excellence.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure value creation, innovation, risk mitigation, and business continuity.
• Lead and develop a global procurement organization, fostering high performance and capability building.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global sourcing and procurement.
• Proven success building and scaling procurement organizations and operating models.
• Deep expertise in category management, supplier negotiations, and commercial contract strategy.
• Strong track record influencing senior executives and driving enterprise‑wide alignment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in technology, gaming, or entertainment industries is highly desirable.
• Advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred (MBA a plus).
