About the role
The University of Miami seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to conduct drug utilization reviews, advise prescribers, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy.
Key responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and advise on drug safety, dosing, and side effects.
- Coordinate pharmacy duties including preparation, labeling, and delivery of medications in compliance with regulations.
- Conduct medication histories, assess compliance, and suggest regimen modifications to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Perform research to advance pharmaceutical care and contribute to disease prevention initiatives.
Required profile
- Pharm.D. degree.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant clinical pharmacy experience.
- Relevant certification or specialty licensure.
