Software Engineer – New Graduate (AI‑Driven Insurance)

About the role

Strada is building the operating layer for AI‑driven insurance and is looking for a new‑graduate Software Engineer to join the early engineering team in San Francisco. You will work across the stack to develop the core systems that power real‑time voice AI agents and integrate with insurance platforms, contributing production code from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Ship your first pull request to production on day one and continue delivering high‑impact features.
• Develop and maintain the voice AI infrastructure that automates thousands of insurance calls daily.
• Own end‑to‑end feature development, from scoping and design to testing and deployment.
• Optimize live systems handling real insurance workflows for major carriers.
• Collaborate with product and engineering peers, providing input on technical decisions as an early team member.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong interest in software development and AI.
• High sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving startup.
• Willingness to learn quickly about the insurance domain and complex real‑world systems.
