Shuttle Attendant – Autonomous Vehicle Operator

About the role

Beep, in partnership with ABI, is seeking a Shuttle Attendant to serve as the human interface for its autonomous Karsan e‑JEST shuttle fleet. You will ensure safe, smooth operations while delivering a welcoming experience for passengers across flexible, 7‑day shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Create a friendly, informative environment for riders, answer questions and explain autonomous technology.
• Monitor vehicle systems and autonomous driving performance, observe traffic conditions, and respond to alerts to maintain safety.
• Maintain real‑time communication with the Beep Command Center, conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, keep the shuttle clean, and prepare the vehicle for the next service period.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with 3‑5 years of driving experience and a clean record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass background, motor‑vehicle record and drug screenings.
• Strong safety mindset, technical curiosity and a customer‑service orientation.
