About the role
The Shipping Supervisor (2nd Shift) will lead the outbound shipping team at our Memphis, TN facility. You will ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of rush and must‑ship orders while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily meetings to communicate goals and assignments.
- Supervise all rush/must‑ship orders and ensure shipping guidelines are met.
- Resolve discrepancies or potential issues promptly.
- Train staff on safety measures and company standards.
- Monitor facility equipment, supplies, and cleaning guidelines.
- Maintain accurate product stock and oversee overtime as needed.
Required profile
- 5‑8 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proven ability to manage a team of shipping/receiving employees.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Required skills
- MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
- SAP (preferred)
- Forklift Certification (preferred)
