Service Technician – The Alcove

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician for The Alcove, a residential community in Las Vegas. The role involves maintaining the physical condition, safety, and functionality of the property’s buildings, grounds, and common‑area amenities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper tracking, re‑ordering, and return of unused items.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Experience with property “make‑ready” procedures and coordinating external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and documentation.
• Commitment to safety policies and participation in routine safety meetings.
