About the role
The Service Technician for Rivera West Village is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property, its grounds, amenities and common areas. Working on‑site in Dallas, you will ensure that all building systems operate safely, efficiently and meet Greystar’s standards of cleanliness and appearance.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
- Document all service activities accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
- Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting signage as required.
- Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
Required profile
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance manuals and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
- Good organizational skills for inventory management and documentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet property needs.
