Senior Quality Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Specialist to join BASF’s Greenville, Ohio site. The role ensures that products, processes and services consistently meet internal and external quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead root‑cause investigations for non‑conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Optimize and align quality systems with global standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 and internal O&M requirements.
• Drive Six Sigma continuous‑improvement projects to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Coach and train associates to build organizational quality capability.
• Apply disciplined methodologies to define, measure, analyze, improve and control product and process quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior quality role within manufacturing or automotive environments.
• Strong knowledge of global quality frameworks (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3).
• Demonstrated ability to lead CAPA investigations and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to present findings to leadership.
