Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

The SEO Specialist will drive organic visibility for B&H product listings and landing pages by developing data‑driven strategies, conducting audits, and collaborating across teams to align SEO initiatives with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a robust SEO strategy based on best practices and data analytics.
• Conduct regular technical and on‑page SEO audits to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Monitor site health and set up alerts for crawlability, speed, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects, and other technical issues.
• Prioritize projects and initiatives based on data analysis.
• Perform keyword research for individual projects.
• Track and report ranking positions on a regular basis.
• Request new or refreshed content to support ranking goals.
• Propose additions or modifications to category and landing pages.
• Develop and implement link‑building and interlinking strategies.
• Coordinate with Social, Buying, Categorization, IS, OLM and other departments to support SEO initiatives.
• Provide guidance on website projects to ensure compliance with SEO best practices.

Required skills

• Google Analytics (and similar platforms such as NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
• HTML.
• CSS.
• JavaScript.
• Understanding of ranking factors and search‑engine algorithms.
• Experience with link‑building and interlinking techniques.
