About the role
We are a growing law firm in Midtown Manhattan seeking a Communications Event Coordinator to support business development and internal events. The role is fully onsite and combines relationship building, proposal management, and event execution to enhance the firm’s market presence.
Key responsibilities
- Support attorneys in building external relationships and managing pitch/proposal materials.
- Maintain the firm’s pitch and proposal library and track all request requests.
- Organize internal firm events, including vendor coordination, material preparation, registration monitoring, and on‑site audio/visual support.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator on PowerPoint presentations, website content, and social‑media posts.
- Attend assigned local trade shows and assist with ad‑hoc projects, prospect research, and industry‑group support.
- Update and maintain the firm’s contact database using InterAction CRM, create targeted contact lists, and manage email templates and traffic (Constant Contact a plus).
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience working with a CRM system (InterAction preferred).
- Strong knowledge of law‑firm marketing fundamentals such as branding, business development, competitive intelligence, and public relations.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
