About the role
The School Site Assistant supports daily operations at Golden West School, working approximately 4.5 hours each day on rotating shifts. This part‑time position helps ensure a safe and organized environment for students and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with classroom setup, material distribution, and general classroom management.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other non‑instructional periods.
- Monitor school premises to maintain safety and order.
- Support teachers and staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Report any incidents or concerns to school administration promptly.
Required profile
- Knowledge of or experience working with school‑age children.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience supervising students in a school setting is desirable.
- Ability to provide a signed letter of recommendation and a current résumé.
