Private Equity Valuation Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Private Equity Valuation Analyst to join our investment team in a hybrid capacity. The analyst will be responsible for delivering accurate quarterly valuations of private equity holdings, ensuring compliance with ASC 820 and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end quarterly valuations for private equity investments across various asset types.
• Apply appropriate valuation methodologies, including equity and alternative financial assets.
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve detailed valuation and financial models.
• Prepare valuation memoranda, supporting exhibits, and presentation materials for the Valuation Committee.
• Collaborate directly with investment professionals to interpret portfolio performance and support fair‑value conclusions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on valuation experience at an investment bank, buy‑side firm, or dedicated valuation practice.
• Demonstrated ability to construct and defend complex valuation models.
• Working knowledge of ASC 820 fair‑value standards and common valuation techniques.
