PMO Manager – Project Management Office Lead

About the role

Chiquita is looking for a PMO Manager to lead and continuously mature its Project Management Office. Reporting to the CIO, you will define how projects are structured, delivered, measured, and reported, turning portfolio data into actionable executive insights.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own, and evolve the PMO operating model, governance framework, and delivery standards.
• Provide portfolio‑level visibility into execution status, risks, dependencies, and trends.
• Produce clear, executive‑level performance insights for CIO and Board decision‑making.
• Promote best‑practice adoption alongside managers and team leaders.
• Design and improve automation for task intake, tracking, and reporting.
• Continuously assess and enhance PMO tools, processes, and reporting to boost productivity.
• Act as a change agent, enabling scalable execution models across the organization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in PMO, project or portfolio management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale system and process deployments.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive teams.
• Strong understanding of project governance, portfolio management, and executive reporting.
• Solid knowledge of project, program, and change‑management methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Artificial Intelligence; AI certification is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
