About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth, compliant day‑to‑day functioning of its office in Kansas. You will support staff, clients, and partners across safety, IT, supply chain, and facilities functions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daily safety and security support, manage incident reporting and brief new staff on protocols.
- Assist the IT team with hardware/software tracking, troubleshooting, and liaison with service providers.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory, coordinate vendor invoices and fleet management.
- Oversee facilities, manage equipment leases, arrange repairs, and allocate workspaces.
- Support office events and coordinate on‑ and off‑site storage needs.
Required profile
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Self‑initiative and capacity to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
