Office Manager

About the role

Garage is building a marketplace for specialized vehicles and equipment. As the Office Manager at the New York City headquarters, you will be the operational backbone that ensures a smooth, welcoming, and efficient in‑person experience for the entire team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations, including lunch logistics, kitchen stocking, workspace upkeep, and supply management.
• Coordinate maintenance, building management, cleaning services, and troubleshoot any on‑site issues.
• Handle procurement and logistics such as Amazon orders, inventory tracking, shipping equipment to remote employees, and managing returns.
• Support recruiting and onboarding by arranging interview meals, preparing workstations, and setting up laptops, monitors, and other equipment for new hires.
• Plan and execute team experiences—birthdays, work anniversaries, lunches, happy hours, and larger company events.
• Assist with offsite events by managing catering, vendors, setup, and overall logistics.
• Maintain company merchandise, marketing collateral, and employee materials, ensuring consistent inventory.
• Drive office growth initiatives, including workspace organization, office moves, and continuous improvement of the employee experience.
