About the role
We are seeking a Monitor Technician to operate the EKG Heart Station on the night shift at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The role supports clinical staff by ensuring accurate cardiac monitoring for patients in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain EKG monitoring equipment during night shift.
- Record, verify, and transmit cardiac data to nursing and physician teams.
- Perform routine equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Assist with patient preparation and ensure proper electrode placement.
- Document monitoring activities in the electronic health record.
Required profile
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant clinical or technical training preferred.
- Ability to work night shift hours.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to patient safety protocols.
Required skills
- Operation of EKG monitoring equipment.
