Mid-level OT/ICS Cybersecurity Engineer (Managed Services)

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a mid‑level OT/ICS Cybersecurity Engineer to join its managed services team. You will protect high‑criticality operational technology systems across the design, deployment, and lifecycle phases, ensuring they meet rigorous security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing operational cybersecurity support and managed‑services activities for client infrastructure.
• Conduct security assessments, risk identification, and mitigation planning for OT/ICS environments.
• Ensure design compliance with standards such as NIST and NERC CIP.
• Integrate third‑party security technologies to make system and network data visible and secure.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to embed cybersecurity into new contracts and active programs.
• Work closely with SCADA instrumentation and controls teams to design and integrate secure SCADA and OT architectures.

Required profile

• Interest and experience in industrial cybersecurity and protecting high‑criticality OT systems.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of cyber professionals.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to client sites.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity framework.
• Familiarity with NERC CIP standards.
• Experience with SCADA and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security.
• Ability to perform cybersecurity assessments and risk mitigation.
• Integration of third‑party security solutions in OT environments.
