Manager, Stock Plan Administration

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager to lead the administration of its global equity compensation programs. Based in Fort Worth, TX, you will ensure accurate, compliant, and seamless execution of stock plans for employees worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of equity awards, including performance share units, restricted stock units, and other stock‑based compensation.
• Process grants, exercises, and releases in line with plan documents, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Maintain accurate equity data in administration systems and ensure proper documentation.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to equity compensation.
• Manage external equity administration vendors, from selection to performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with tax, payroll, and external advisors to handle tax withholding, reporting, and year‑end processes.
• Support equity‑related transactions tied to corporate events and assist with audits and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 13 years, Associate + 9 years, M.S. + 2 years, PhD + 0 years).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing equity compensation programs.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
