About the role

The role is hands-on and execution-focused, working with Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Legal, Risk, Product, Operations, Finance and external partners. You will work from the San Francisco or New York office three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
Key responsibilities
- Identify, interpret and operationalize regulatory and partner obligations across US jurisdictions, products and licensed entities.

- Help establish obligations-management practices that scale with the US business.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in regulatory operations, regulatory compliance, internal audit, risk management or a similar discipline in a fast-growing technology, financial services, payments or fintech company.
- Proven experience turning legal, regulatory or partner requirements into operational controls, procedures and testing or assurance activities.
- Direct involvement in regulatory exams, audits, inspections, RFIs or partner due diligence, with personal ownership of planning, coordination, documentation or remediation.
- Strong project management, analytical and writing skills, and comfort in a fast-moving, high-standard environment.
- Comfortable working across time zones with a globally distributed team.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with payments, e-money, card issuing or acquiring, treasury, embedded finance or multi-jurisdiction fintech models.
- Prior exposure to US regulators (e.g. FinCEN, CFPB, state regulators) and US bank or card scheme partners.
- Experience building obligations registers, control libraries or regulatory reporting operating models.
- Familiarity with GRC tooling, and certifications such as CAMS, CRCM, CIA or CISA.
