About the role
The Manager, Brand Communications will join The Home Depot’s Public Relations team to shape and execute external communications that highlight the company’s brand, product innovation and business priorities. Working closely with Marketing, Merchandising, eCommerce and other stakeholders, the role will develop integrated earned‑media strategies that engage DIY and professional customers while driving year‑over‑year growth.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal and external communications, acting as a communications partner to senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
- Create clear messaging and materials for initiative‑based and ongoing communications, ensuring they are easily understood across associate levels.
- Design and deliver measurable earned‑media strategies that support product innovation objectives and engage DIYers and professional contractors.
- Develop and track communications metrics to assess the effectiveness of internal and external efforts.
- Maintain consistency of messaging across earned and owned channels and collaborate with internal channel owners.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of agency or in‑house public relations experience, preferably in retail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders and translate complex business initiatives into compelling communications.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and age 18 or older.
