Maintenance Technician – Park East

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Park East community in Los Angeles. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking of work orders.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, including painting, unit turnovers, spiffing, and exterior cleaning.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and communicate effectively with residents and vendors.
