Maintenance Technician - Meridian Pointe

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of Meridian Pointe – from apartments to common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This onsite role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety and risk‑management meetings and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs in accordance with safety and code standards.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and make‑ready turnover processes.
• Competence in inventory tracking and re‑ordering of supplies.
• Strong documentation skills for service requests and maintenance records.
• Willingness to perform general cleaning, pressure‑washing, and minor painting tasks.
• Commitment to following safety and risk‑management procedures.
