Maintenance Technician – Kirker Creek Property

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s Kirker Creek community in Pittsburg. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies and completing all required maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform a variety of mechanical and technical tasks in a residential property setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and risk‑management policies.
• Good organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory and documentation.
• Willingness to work onsite and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
