Maintenance Technician – Fusion Apartments

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of Fusion Apartments – a 192‑unit garden‑style community – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite position supports resident satisfaction and the overall performance of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials responsibly.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety procedures and company policies.
• Ability to work independently on a rotating on‑call schedule, Monday‑Friday.
